Welcome to the Evidence Based Therapy of Colorado blog. We are excited to be here and are thrilled to have you visit our site.

Evidence Based Therapy of Colorado is a growing practice of dedicated and compassionate clinicians expert in mindfulness and acceptance based cognitive behavioral therapies. Not only do we have extensive training in these therapies, we are in-the-midst of our own lifelong work/process of personal transformation based in consistent practice of mindfulness meditation and supportive therapies.

We are currently offering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Koru Mindfulness, and Mindfulness Based Wellness (MB-WellTM) throughout the front range of Colorado, including Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and Greeley. We love having the opportunity to serve the Colorado community and hope to meet you in person soon.

We have dedicated our lives to developing an understanding of the human experience—mind, body and soul—with the intention to support fellow humans in the process of alleviating suffering. Our intention is to serve the Colorado community through offering courses and therapies with a strong evidence base in the scientific literature. As part of this process we plan to offer blog posts “translating” recent research from the psychological, health, and medical literatures into bite-sized chunks applicable to the realities and stresses of day-to-day life.

Welcome to the human condition: moods shift, anxiety ebbs and flows, plans change, goals and intentions fall to the wayside, and sometimes life seems to hand us obstacles that feel insurmountable. Research has something to contribute to our understanding of the multi-faceted experience of being human and we hope to offer pieces of that understanding here.
